(Pet) Projects (Zoo)

Cosmo’s Workshop

Our playground for interface and interaction design

We noticed we were spending a little too much time on side projects that involved programming code and designing for the web, so we decided to spin it off our main projects page and give it a page of its own (with new domain, since October). Also, making it look like a old and grumpy artisan is behind them all not only creates an aura of handcraft (which in a sense is quite true), but most of all it helps us in creating a healthy distance from those things (and probably focus on what we do best: paint). It is now being directed at Portuguese-speaking audiences, but you can still find oddities like pump.kin.

"El Sastrecillo Valiente"

Short stories and insights by Tomas Buteler

El Sastrecillo Valiente is a writing exercise by cosmicollective co-founder. Carefully crafted short stories or insightful rants make for a very special pet project. Now hosted on cosmicollective.org. Click here to read more (Portuguese only).

This is what we really do when we put our effort to it. For real.

And now for something completely different
scott c

Ninjas and knights populate the many cartoons of Scott Campbell. He’s got the funny gene, and even though his style is very spontaneous, there’s a huge amount of detail in his art. Plenty of art prints too, and very sought out at that… Plus, you got to love a guy that works with Tim Schafer and his Double Fine studios! Check out his personal blog and make sure you see his comics from Double Fine.
